Welcome to the Broadscope Corporation website.
We are a corporation in the game EVE Online. It is one of the best games out there if you enjoy total freedom of game play. Check it out at www.eveonline.com if your not already playing this awesome game.
Feel free to browse this site. It has some very good information on it that may save you a lot of time. Remember, CCP is constantly updating skills and game mechanics, so if you know some of the info here is old, we probably just haven't gotten it updated yet.
I hope you are here to either join our corporation, suggest a cooperative operation, or order ships, components, weapons, ammunition, Blueprint Copies, or rigs from us. Our goal is to be a one-stop-shop for all your player made needs. Unfortunately, we cannot manufacture things like officer or dedspace modules.
We are a new corporation, we took a lot of time deciding the direction we wanted to go, and planning how to get there. This is not a corporation that popped up on a whim. We have clear goals, and nothing too crazy planned. As of now, we are building our numbers so we'll be able to take a piece of low sec space. We do have some long term plans of living in 0.0 space, we also have some interesting ideas concerning 0.0 space. Once we have enough members, we'll be able to conduct raids into low sec and 0.0 space.
Here are some of our goals:
100 members.
Corporation Economy working. Provide the best purchase option for customers in EVE.
Provide a one-stop-shop for ships and fits.
Provide our services at a low profit, ensuring the best prices possible.
Have enough combat, Logistical, Freighter, and Orca pilots that we can hire out to others who need the help.
Develop positive standings with other corporations and help manage cooperative operations.
The goal of Broadscope Corporation is to help players get a solid base to work from in EVE Online. We are not like some other corporations that want to tax you and force you to go on operations. We at Broadscope want you to enjoy the game. The operations that do happen, will be encouraged by the leaders, but executed by the members. Leaders will help, but not press members to go on ops. At the end of an op, the total gathered ore, ice, etc. will be divided among all the players that took part in the operation and the corporation. The corporation will get the same amount as each player gets. This is to help fund the corporation and keep us moving forward. We don't want your ISK. We want players to be with us because it's a great place to be. We want everyone who leaves, to leave wealthier than when they came.
Our corporation divisions are:
Headquarters
Industry
Security
Exploration
Services
Commission
Headquarters is the senior leaders. Not really any special privileges here, but a lot more work. When players have a disagreement, these are the people that have to solve it. They also have to organize operations to keep players happy. It's a lot of hard work.
Industry is the group that mines, refines, manufactures, researches, and invents. These people have a lot of work to do, but most of it is mining. Everyone knows that mining makes space life possible, our goal is to help make it less boring.
Security are the bad boys and girls of society. Their job is combat. Missions, anomalies, deadspace pockets, and PVP. We plan to keep the dogs of war busy. The overall idea is to have enough players running mining operations in areas that require a security detachment, that our combatants use up any extra ammo they have laying around. These guys do get a share of any ore/ice mined when they are present and needed. If we raid low sec, and need security, the security capsuleers get a share along with everyone else. It's just the right thing to do.
Exploration are the crazies that seek out things like wormholes and such. Their feedback is important because they can alert members to gravimetric (ore), Ladar (gas), Radar (hacking), Magnetometric (analyzer/salvager). They can help keep the industry and security people going. Also, these are the guys who find and run wormhole operations. If we set up a Player Owned Station inside a wormhole, this is the division that will do it.
Services are the capsuleers that mostly haul cargo, fly logistical ships, and other odd jobs. It is also this division that is responsible for keeping the POS's that we have up and running. They have to coordinate with members to buy fuel, and they have to make the resupply runs to keep the POS's fueled.
Commission is the new to space division. We want to make everyone's experience as good as it can be. So this division is to help new and budding players learn everything they can. We don't mind if you join us just to learn a few things and then leave. We are willing to bet that once you join us, you'll be happy to stay.

We are a family oriented group of people. Eve online is only a game, and should be treated as such. Yes, the game is awesome, but we need to spend time in real life too. Most of us have friends and family near us, and EVE is just a great way to spend some time and decompress from the various stresses of life. The thing to keep in mind is that EVE are the people you play with and have fun with. Real life are the people who will make you smile, laugh, and cry. And one day, we hope when you are very old, they will stand by your bed and hold your hand as you leave this life behind.
We are also a values based group.
Our Core Values:
Loyalty: Being there when the people you play with need you. (Don't neglect real life for Eve, it's not worth it.)
Respect: Treating others the way you want to be treated.
Integrity: Doing what is right. All the time. Every time.
Honesty: Be as honest as you can. (Disinformation during war is fine)
Pride: Take pride in your work and your dealings with other people.
Teach: Always take the time to help new players learn the ropes.
B-X-S: Be Excess. Be more than you need to be.
Griefing is an activity we do not endorse. Griefing always leads to fighting. That newly created character might not be able to defend themselves, but they might just be an alt, and they may have some very powerful friends with very deep pockets. Not to mention it makes game play a lot less fun for everyone.
The goal of this corporation, is to be a unified platform that players can use to enjoy the game more. You can always sell ore and ice to the corp, but we don't require it.
The main idea is to have miners gathering resources. The miners can then sell the ore to the corporation at market value. The corporation will then manufacture ships, modules, ammo, rigs... you name it. The corp will then either sell the items, or donate them back to the members. This will keep everyone going, and make all of our lives easier.
